The RC Pro-Series Finals was held in Alvarado, TX at the Diamond W Arena in which all the top divisional drivers from around the country would meet to decide who would take home the National Championship in their respective classes.
Jake Dellinger, who just missed qualifying for the Pro 1/8 buggy class in a highly competitive south division, would set his sights on the Expert 1/8 buggy title. After qualifying 9th overall for the 45 minute final Jake drove a very smooth and consistent race and managed to work his way to the front of the pack. After some smooth pit stops, from dad and pit man Russell Dellinger, Jake found himself in the lead with about 15 minutes remaining and never looked back to claim his biggest win in dominant form.
Jake not only won the Expert A-Final but he also secured the National Championship with this win. Jake came very close to double National titles by finishing a close runner up in the Expert Arena Truck as well.
